🍎 3rd grade students enjoyed the Apple Seeds Cooking in School program this week!
🧑🍳 The students learned about nutritional value and making healthy food choices. Students participated in a hands-on cooking lesson and were able to take home ingredients and recipes to make with their families!
🥬 They loved trying something new and even asked for seconds of the kale chips. One student even said, "These are better than Lays!" which sparked a great opinion writing prompt for the class!

Sherwood Elementary extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to our school community! We're incredibly proud of our readers and grateful for your support, which made our fundraiser a success. Our students had a wonderful time reading. We can't wait to host another Read-A-Thon next year!
Thanks again,
