A group of students participated in a special photography project to have their work showcased at the @arkmod on Tues., March 10 from 6-8 pm. Students took pictures of marbles and included a creative writing piece. Come visit Museum of Discovery tomorrow night to see their work!

February is Black History Month. Sheryl Underwood is a comedian and television host of The Talk. She founded the African American Female Comedian Association. Underwood was born in Little Rock and inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2007.

February is Black History Month. Lencola Sullivan-Verseveldt was the first African American to win Miss Arkansas in 1980. She was fourth runner-up at Miss America that year. She is from Morrilton and inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2006.
