James E.K. Hildreth, M.D. is a leader in HIV and AIDS research, and developed a creat to kill HIV. He is also the first African American to be a Rhodes scholar. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2009.

Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 - regular (virtual ) instruction.

PCSSD will have virtual days on Monday, Feb. 15 and Tuesday, Feb. 16 due to winter weather and dangerously cold temperatures over the next 48 hours. Due to ADE regulations, the district is not allowed to declare a SNOW day and close down. Register by the end of February to earn PBIS points!
Parents follow these steps for registering next year:
1. Check email for registration user name and password. (Contact the school at 501-897-2171 if you need your information)
2. Go to pcssd.org/registser
3. Register under the "Returning Student" option. This must be done for each child.
4. Registration must be complete. "Pending" shows up once all information has been submitted.
