Our Kindness Fundraiser is going strong! Parents, please register your student if you have not, share their fundraising page with friends and family, and complete the Boarding Pass assignment. Don't forget to have your student turn in their completed Boarding Pass to school tomorrow to earn their prizes! The kindness fundraiser ends on September 28th.

We are six weeks into the school year, and it is off to a great start! We just wanted to send out a few quick reminders:
During afternoon dismissal, please make sure you pull all the way up and do not leave gaps between cars. When gaps are left, the line backs up onto Bamboo, which causes traffic issues.
If you have a grandparent or another family member picking up your child, please make sure they are aware of our dismissal procedures.
For students’ safety, please remember that students need to wear closed-toe shoes to school.
Thank you for helping us keep dismissal running smoothly and, most importantly, keeping our students safe!

Grandparents’ Day has arrived! Today is the day! We’re so excited to welcome everyone and wanted to send out a few reminders:
Please be sure to bring your driver’s license so you can receive your visitor badge.
If you plan to eat lunch and would like to purchase a school meal, it is $4 cash only.
Once lunch is over, please make your way out of the building.
For safety and security, only students are allowed in the classrooms and on the playground.
We are also unable to pull siblings from other grade levels.
You are welcome to stay and eat with each child, but please do so during their assigned lunch time.

Cato staff had the opportunity to make a healthy smoothie using a recipe that was created for first grade students! Partnering with Apple Seeds Teaching Farm, we are looking forward to encouraging our students to make healthy choices and learning how eating healthy can be simple and delicious!

This year, our students are earning ClassDojo points for making positive choices, showing kindness, working hard, and following school expectations. We want to continue rewarding those choices through our Student Store, just as we have in the past with PBIS points.

Schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, September 8, and all district offices will also be open.

🚗 Please have your car tag visible so the teacher can quickly call your child’s name.
➡️ Students will enter and exit vehicles on the right side only.
🚙 Parents, please remain in your vehicle. Staff will assist students as needed.
🏫 Students are being housed in the cafeteria during dismissal, so it takes a few minutes for them to walk to the front of the school. Please remind your child to get up as soon as they hear their name and walk directly to the front.
